The MAPS/SRA Field Day was held at Victoria Plains near Mackay in mid-May. Growers were welcomed by MAPS CEO Anthony Schembri and SRA Translation Research Manager, Barry Salter.  SRA’s Variety Development Manager – Central, George Piperidis, was on hand to talk about new varieties available from the approved seed plot this year. The event always draws a lot of interest from growers and this year’s was no exception.
