Simon has over 20 years’ experience working as a researcher in sugarcane molecular biology, which spanned both research work and his role as laboratory & facilities manager in the SugarBooster research programme at UQ.

At Sugar Research Australia, he previously worked as Assets & Facilities Coordinator before his current role of Contracts & Initiatives Administrator. Simon is enthusiastic about his role in the Research & Development team, and he provides valuable experience and knowledge to assist and support researchers – working together to achieve productive and sustainable outcomes for the sugarcane industry.
