Linda is the SRA Variety Officer for Herbert. She has over 16 years experience in the sugarcane industry in the Herbert region. Linda began in the industry as a cane auditor at the Victoria and Macknade mills for 5 years, then moved to field based projects for the local productivity service. Linda joined SRA in 2017: first in the YCS and the soil health projects before moving into the plant breeding team – where she worked as a technician prior to her current role as Variety Officer.
