Jodi McLean is a seasoned executive leader with over 27 years of management experience and 24 years in board and committee roles across agriculture, research, and higher education. As Chief Operating Officer of the Soil CRC and General Manager for Triside, she leads strategic operations and national research initiatives that drive innovation and impact.

With qualifications in science and management, Jodi brings tri-sector experience across industry, government, and academia. She is a Certified Practising Research Manager and Accredited Partnership Broker, known for her expertise in R&D governance, stakeholder engagement, and technology commercialisation—including IP strategy and digital innovation in agriculture.

Coming from seven generations of farmers, Jodi is deeply committed to rural and regional Australia. Her leadership is grounded in sustainability, profitability, and collaboration, with a focus on delivering real returns to Australian agriculture through research and development.
