Sijesh has nearly 10 years’ research experience in sugarcane abiotic stress physiology and trait-yield relationships. His current focus is on applying phenomics, quantitative genetics, and machine learning approaches to identify novel traits for sugarcane crop improvement and to improve selection accuracy and efficiency in the variety development program.
