Muyiwa Olayemi comes from a quantitative genetics and data analytic background, with extensive experience in statistical analysis of plant and livestock data.

Muyiwa’s role at SRA involves delivery of statistical and data analytical services to SRA research projects and trials. He applies various statistical and data analytic tools to the design of experiments, data visualisation and analysis, modelling complex problem using machine learning and predictive analytics to identify opportunities, discover solutions, and deliver actionable business insights.

Prior to joining SRA, Muyiwa worked as a quantitative geneticist in sheep, goat, pigs and dairy cattle genetic improvement and evaluation programs across Australia and New Zealand.
