The Board-approved Response Plan to the Independent Performance Review is now available – view here. The plan includes our company response to the 20 recommendations in the performance review covering key business areas including stakeholder engagement, research, collaboration, governance, and monitoring and evaluation.

Central to our plan is a strong commitment to continuing our engagement with industry and government stakeholders and increasing transparency, and we have already made several improvements to address these including:

Reporting more details publicly about our research portfolio balance and expenditure in the Annual Operating Plan 2024-25 released in July. Committing to consultation with industry and government representatives about investment allocation and research priorities in scheduled meetings during April, August and December each year.

Committing to the R&D Showcase and Feedback Session in March each year to enhance stakeholder consultation.
Over the next two years we will be implementing actions in response to the 20 recommendations and will provide updates on our progress periodically to staff and external stakeholders to demonstrate accountability.
