Important notice for levy payers affected by natural disasters or COVID-19

The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment has released an advice for levy payers affected by natural disasters or COVID-19.

Acknowledging that levy payers may find it difficult to submit returns or pay outstanding debts on time, they’ve encouraged anyone concerned about meeting deadlines to contact their Levies state office on 1800 625 103.

DAWE will assess each request for additional time to lodge returns or deal with outstanding payments. Repayment agreements will be established where appropriate.

Levy payers will continue to receive regular email reminders and, where possible, DAWE asks that returns be submitted on time.

DAWE extends its support to all who have been affected by the recent floods, their families and communities.
